Hey Stampers & scrappers! Let's start some weekend inspiration. Here is a card I made using the spritz/emboss resist technique. It is the same technique I used on the 4th of July blue ribbon card. I used the new stamp set Serene Silhouettes. This set is great stamp set for ghosting, masking, and resisting techniques. I embossed the stamped image and then spritzed over it using our new spritzers and stampin' up reinkers. Want to make a card using this technique? Come to class this Tuesday, the 10th to learn this fun technique. PRODUCT SHARES GOING ON RIGHT NOW! Want to have all the new accessories?! Sign up for a product share! Hey Stampers & scrappers!
You're Amazing! You really are! This is a new stamp set from the 2012-2013 catalog called YOU'RE AMAZING. I really love this set because it will make some really great masculine cards. It is super versatile. On this card, I used the new In color called Midnight Muse and Baja Breeze. I embossed the midnight layer with the houndstooth folder and made a top note from the big shot. I stamped the hot air balloon image using our name foam ink pads. I let it dry for about a minute, then went to town sponging. Be sure to drag the sponge, don't pounce. I Started with the lightest color first and slowly progressed to the darkest. When I finished sponging, I used a sponge with our whisper white ink and pounced on a few spots to create the clouds. I finished it off with a greeting from the ITTY BITTY BANNERS set and some baker's twine. I also used some of our frost white shimmer spray just to give it a bit of shimmer. Want to learn some great techniques like this?! Join me July 5 @7:30 for a technique class. Can't make the class? The kit with instructions will be on sale later this month. Hostess special still going on! Get over 100$ of free products! Email me: vilmaldonado@earthlink.net to reserve your spot, to get a kit, or get free products. Have a stampin' fun weekend!

Faux Sew

Hey Stampers & scrappers! As most of you know, I have no clue how to sew! I wish so much that I did. I keep borrowing sewing machines telling myself I am going to learn. I love our Stampin' Up fabric and how it coordinates with so many of our accessories. Here is an apron I made for a baking camp last week. It is so cute and the girls in the camp had so much fun making them. They especially loved cranking out the flowers on the big shot. I used a dish towel, our candy cane lane fabric, the flower folds die & of course....my best friend...the GLUE GUN! You can use any of our fabric to make adorable accessories like the flower I added on the side. I used the Flower folds bigz die to create this layered look. These dies are great for making appliqués, hair bows, pins, headbands, & so much more. Have a crafty great day!
